Suresh Bhatt
Suresh qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and obtained a trustee certificate of knowledge and understanding with the Pensions Management Institute in 2005. He is a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers and a senior associate at Gateley.
Suresh undertakes a wide range of work including advisory, transactional, drafting and trustee work. Suresh is responsible for Entrust’s provision of services on a range of schemes including ongoing schemes and schemes in wind up. His experience includes managing and dealing with issues arising as trustee on a scheme with over £80 million in assets and over 360 geographically dispersed and non-associated employers. Recent advisory work to employers and trustees includes age discrimination, pension sharing on divorce and the implications of recent legislative changes. Suresh also has experience of advising on closure of schemes to future accrual, switch to career average schemes, clearance applications and drafting deeds of amendment and new pension scheme deeds and rules.
